I entered the accountancy profession as an articled clerk on the strength of my A levels gained at St Johns School, Singapore.

On qualifying I worked with major plc’s to follow an interest in computing and systems. I joined BDO Stoy Hayward in 1986, as an IT consultant in the Consultancy division. I am now a Partner and Head of the Technology Consulting Group in our London office. My particular areas of expertise include; IT and business processes, management structures, effectiveness and efficiency and interim or locum management projects.

I am championing Durham as my father went to Durham University and my grandfather worked at St Johns College and lived in South Bailey within the cathedral precinct. My uncle was also Mayor of Durham City and all of my family originate from Durham.

I attended Durham University, obtaining a degree in Combined Social Sciences, graduating in 2000.

I am Senior Audit Manager working primarily in the Real Estate sector in the London office.

I joined BDO Stoy Hayward in 2000, to pursue a career in audit, entering the three year ACA graduate scheme. I qualified in 2003 and I undertook two short-term secondments, firstly to BDO Kendalls in Perth, Western Australia and then to the Corporate Finance department in London. I returned to my initial Audit Group in March 2004 where I work on a wide range of clients. I also undertake a number of HR roles for my department.

Durham is a fantastic university which produces a number of people who fit seamlessly into the BDO Stoy Hayward culture.
