Surrey
I attended the University of Surrey and obtained a joint honours degree in Business
and Theology and Religious Studies, graduating in 1998. I studied at the Roehampton
campus which is now a separate university.
I joined BDO Stoy Hayward in January 2006 as a Manager to specialise in Tax Investigations
in our London office. Prior to joining BDO Stoy Hayward, I worked in personal tax
advice and compliance for High Net Worth individuals and owner-managed businesses.
I spent a year working in Chicago, USA in personal UK and US tax. I have also worked
for HM Revenue & Customs and I am a Chartered Tax Adviser.
I am championing the University of Surrey because I believe BDO Stoy Hayward has
an excellent employment offering for Surrey graduates, particularly with business
qualifications. I believe this is a great place to study and work if you are looking
for a long-term career with professional qualifications and a focus on client service.
