The office provides a smaller scale environment than our London office, employing some 150 staff. Here it really is a case of ‘everyone knows everyone’.
Our trainees are welcomed into the team in a number of ways - whether it’s formal introductions on your first day in the office, at our offices’ first Monday of the month lunches or the weekly Friday Fridge drinks. One person you will definitely meet is your mentor – someone who will take an active interest in your progression within the firm – providing support throughout your training contract and beyond and helping you settle into your new role.
The Hatfield office is one of three sites comprising the Eastern Region. Along with Chelmsford and Cambridge, Hatfield offers a range of services to its clients. The region has a friendly and supportive working environment where partners and staff work side-by-side.
The range of clients serviced by the office includes some of the largest national clients of BDO Stoy Hayward. Clients vary in size from large fully-listed companies to smaller family-owned local businesses and they include a significant number of US and international groups. Clients tend to be located in London or the Northern Home Counties.
Transport links are excellent. The A1(M) and M25 are close by and there is plenty of local free parking. We are also just a few hundred metres from Hatfield Station and if you want to get into Central London it is only 20 minutes away by train.
In short, Hatfield provides an opportunity to gain many of the benefits of working in London without the expense of living in London.
