Why did you choose accountancy?
I’d recommend accountancy as a career because it’s not just about numbers
which quite a lot of people think it is, within business restructuring I get such
a variety of jobs to work on and I know it’s the same for other departments
as well.
Why BDO Stoy Hayward?
I’d recommend BDO Stoy Hayward as a place to train because it’s a really
people oriented firm and ever since I’ve joined my team they have tried to
give me as much responsibility as possible.
How does the firm support you through exams?
I think the firm are really supportive to everyone going through their exams, I
have set days that I’m in college but in addition to that I get study leave
with work. But the most important thing is they bear in mind that I am doing
my revision at the same time as work and they take this into account when they’re
wanting me to get through all the workload that I’ve got.
