Chartered accountancy qualifications
The ACA (through the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)) and CA (through the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland (ICAS) and only available in our Scottish offices) are regarded worldwide as premier financial business qualifications.
To achieve these qualifications, you must complete a training contract which will last a minimum of three years and complete the Institute exams.
School-leavers can apply for ACA, but the majority of students come into chartered training through the graduate entry route. Graduates with any degree subject may apply, however, depending on the degree subject taken; you may gain exemption from some of the exams.
They are challenging qualifications and we’re certainly not saying it will be easy – in fact it will demand a lot of hard work, commitment and determination from you.
