The Global Opportunities Report21 October 2013
We are delighted to introduce our latest piece of thought leadership, The Global Opportunities Report.
When emigrating from their home country, individuals will consider many different factors, including such things as culture, education and cost of living.
In addition, an individual's tax situation will vary greatly dependent on their personal situation when emigrating.
The report looks at three broad classes of individuals and makes an assessment of which locations are best suited to these groups in terms of the current tax regime in place. These groups are entrepreneurs, global executives and pensioners.
BDO's Global Opportunities Report has been produced alongside a report by Knight Frank entitled the Global Lifestyles Review which assesses the relative attractiveness of global locations against such considerations as culture, education and cost of living. Using these criteria, the report ranked Dubai, Hong Kong, Nassau, Ottawa and Auckland as some of the top locations around the world.
