LGC has acquired Paragon Scientific (Paragon), a leading manufacturer of reference materials for applied markets including the petroleum and petrochemical sectors.

The acquisition of Paragon strengthens LGC’s global reference material offering for applied markets and complements its existing product portfolio. The combination with Paragon provides improved access for customers to a wider portfolio of products via an extended commercial and distribution network and an enhanced R&D capability, which will facilitate the introduction of new products.
