BDO provided financial and taxation due diligence and SPA advisory services on Biffa's significant and strategic acquisition of Simply Waste Solutions.
Biffa Plc, which is the UK's leading sustainable waste management business, has acquired Simply Waste Solutions (Camo Limited, trading as Simply Waste), an industrial and commercial waste collection business for consideration of £35m.
Simply Waste is a prominent, well-regarded operator in the south of England. Its operating locations in west London, Oxfordshire and Bristol align well with Biffa's existing business, and once merged into the Biffa collection network is expected to result in an enhanced customer proposition and a lower-carbon, more efficient collection network.
