BDO advises on the Main Market IPO of Conduit Holdings

BDO advises on the Main Market IPO of Conduit Holdings, a newly established reinsurance underwriting business.

Conduit Holdings is a newly formed Bermuda and London based reinsurer established by Neil Eckert and Trevor Carvey, two highly experienced industry participants.

Conduit raised $1.2bn of gross proceeds (£826m) through its IPO on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, representing the second largest fund-raise by a UK firm in 2020.

The business will write reinsurance in the Property, Casualty and Specialty classes, focusing on producing strong risk adjusted returns from a diversified and focused business plan.
