Gender pay reporting: what are the considerations for partnership firms?

12 March 2018

On 6 April 2017 new rules that require all UK companies with more than 250 employees to publish the details of the pay gap between male and female employees across six GPR ratios were announced.  With the clock ticking down to the 4 Aril 2018 deadline, law firms and other professional partnerships are starting to publish their gender pay reports which has fuelled significant media coverage of the gender pay gap in professional services firms and particularly in law firms.

There are specific issues that partnerships will need to consider and a decision will need to be made as to whether the details of equity partners are included is certainly one of them.

If you would like to discuss your approach to gender pay reporting in a partnership, then please contact Anna Jarrold or your usual Professional Services team representative.
