Majid joined BDO in 2017 and is a Director within the Private Client Services team in London. Majid has experience dealing with all aspects of non-UK domicile advice, including offshore structuring, such as establishment of non-UK trusts, advising on all tax aspects effecting the settlor and beneficiaries.
Majid also advises on the use of business investment relief in conjunction with tax efficient remittances to the UK.
During his time at BDO, Majid has advised international ultra-high net worth individuals and individuals coming to or leaving the UK on requisite pre-arrival and exit planning strategies.
Majid has extensive knowledge advising on tax issues affecting Private Equity executives, including those with a non-domicile or international angle, such as dealing with the taxation of carried interest, DMIF and investor reporting.
As well as all this, Majid advises on all aspects of traditional private client work, such as estate planning for IHT efficiencies and advising on the availability of business property relief.
