I am Head of BDO’s National Cross Border and Contentious Insolvency team and specialise in working on complex international fraud-related insolvencies and securing recoveries for creditors. The assignments I work on focus on investigations, asset tracing and litigation, often of a cross-border nature.

• Administrator of Benny Steinmetz Group Resources Ltd [ Guernsey] 
• Administrator of Bell Pottinger
• Liquidator of The Rangers Football Club PLC
• Court-appointed administrator over the estate of Don Hanson, former managing partner of Arthur Anderson
• Provisional liquidator of Beppler & Jacobson Ltd
• Provisional Liquidator of ARM Asset Backed Securities SA [Luxembourg]
• Liquidator of Avendis Global Fund Limited and its trading subsidiaries [Cayman Islands]
• Court-appointed receiver over substantial private equity interests held by Sebastian Holdings, Inc [Turks & Caicos].

I am also a lead partner of the firm’s dedicated Corporate Simplification team working with companies to streamline their corporate structure and implement solvent liquidations to achieve this.

Representative matters include:

• Advising British Telecommunications plc worldwide on various global restructuring, reorganisation and simplification programmes
• Acting as liquidator in respect of corporate simplification work undertaken for Aon, Babcock, BP, Citibank, Eurobank, GlaxoSmithKline, Hays, Jardine Lloyd Thompson, SEGRO, the Walt Disney Company and many others
• Acting as solvent liquidator for several non-departmental government bodies.
