I am a partner in the Thames Valley tax team, specialising in M&A tax. I support transactionally active businesses in the region as they move forward with their M&A strategy, including domestic and international acquisitions, disposals, re-financing, and public listings. Using my transaction experience, I also love to help dynamic businesses and their investors to build value through tax in advance of a transaction – both from a corporate and personal perspective.

I have over 21 years’ experience in tax, 11 of which I have spent in the region, working alongside local lawyers and bankers. My typical clients range from private equity houses and international corporates through to talented entrepreneurs who want to take their business to the next level. My specialisms include due diligence, international tax structuring and reorganisations, supporting with the tax aspects of legal documentations and helping businesses to develop an efficient, compliant and commercially aligned tax strategy across all taxes.

A number of my clients are focused on the technology sector, albeit I have also worked with a number of businesses in other sectors including life sciences, retail and leisure, professional services and video gaming.

Most (if not all) of my clients have a number of stakeholders and competing demands on their time. I strongly believe that taking time to understand the commercial world in which you operate is essential to providing proactive and sensible tax advice - and to making connections for you across the many specialisms of the firm at the right time.

I am a qualified Chartered Accountant (FCA, ICAEW) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA, CIOT) and frequently speak at events, including with the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce.

My husband and I live in Crowthorne and have two young daughters – besides spending time with my family, I enjoy running and cooking (hopefully mutually cancelling on calories), reading and swimming.
