Predictions

In 2016, the Chancellor announced that the UK Government will move from a Spring Budget and an Autumn Statement, to a Budget in the autumn and a brief Spring Statement. With 2017 being a transitional year and with Brexit negations on the horizon, we do not anticipate that the Chancellor will make many significant changes at this stage.

What are we expecting to see?

We have also made a wish list of what we think the Chancellor could and should address in his speech, with a commitment to tax simplification taking precedent.

We will be producing an in-depth analysis of the content of the Spring Budget 2017 which will be available here on 9 March.
