$837m acquisition of generation plants by ContourGlobal Plc

BDO acted as reporting accountant for ContourGlobal plc's Class 1 acquisition of 1,502 MW of generation plants inn North America.

ContourGlobal plc, a FTSE250 company, operated 105 thermal and renewable power generation assets in 18 countries across Europe, Latin America and Africa, with a total installed capacity of 4.8 GW.  Following the £837m acquisition of natural gas-fired and combined heat and power assets in North America from Western Generation Partners, ContourGlobal plc expanded its operations to 117 power plants, over 20 countries, totalling 6.3 GW installed capacity.
