Australian listed Amadeus Energy has merged with UK-based Ecofin Energy Resources (EER) and changed its name to Lonestar Resources (ASX: LNR - AUD920m market cap). EER is the holding company for Lonestar Resources and owns a portfolio of Eagle Ford Shale assets in Texas. The new Lonestar Resources will hold proved reserves of c13m barrels of oil equivalent and combined production of c3,000 barrels per day. BDO provided financial and tax due diligence to Amadeus via teams in the UK and US.
