Our Mergers & Acquisitions team acted as sponsor and financial adviser to Foresight Solar VCT plc on a £20m offer for subscription of a new share class for its Solar VCT. The issue was achieved in a very tight timescale in order to make full use of the tax breaks available to VCTs before the 2012/13 tax year end. BDO acted as sponsor on the original launch of Foresight Solar VCT plc in 2010, which raised approximately £40m.The various Foresight VCT's are managed by Foresight Group LLP.
