BDO advised Wael Al Qadi & Samir Al Qadi on the sale of a 55% stake in Dwane Sports, the holding company for Bristol Rovers Football Club.

The sale sees Hussain AlSaeed take a 55% shareholding in the club, with Wael and Samer Al Qadi remaining as co-owners of Dwane Sports and the football club.

The investment in Bristol Rovers FC, one of the oldest football clubs in the UK, will allow the club to grow sustainably and continue its progression up the football pyramid. Post investment, Wael will remain as Club President.

"I assigned BDO to assist me in the process of securing new investment into the club after being approached by many interested parties over the last three years. Harry, Tom, and Rhys became my trusted partners and team members throughout this time and were a huge part in the successful conclusion of this mission. With their help, knowledge and experience, we were able to choose the most suitable party to transact with, and they competently and efficiently managed the whole process to its successful conclusion."

"Bristol Rovers has so much potential: it is based in a high growth city, has a large and loyal fan base and the club is building a team that will challenge for promotion. Our process attracted a lot of global investor interest that resulted in Hussain building a great relationship with Wael."
