BDO has advised the shareholders of Profile Pensions, a leading UK digital pensions adviser, on its sale to Moneyfarm, one of the largest digital wealth managers in Europe.
Profile FSH Limited (trading name “Profile Pensions”), majority owned by Smedvig Capital, is a UK leading digital pensions adviser. They help retail customers consolidate their multiple defined contribution pension pots from previous employers with proper asset allocations and provide ongoing advice, charging a low-cost fee.
The acquisition will reinforce Moneyfarm’s positioning in the UK through significant development of its pension business as well as cross-sell opportunities; and will fulfil Profile Pensions’ vision to accelerate customer growth - together leads to the ongoing journey to build the leading pan-European digital wealth manager.
