The BDO Transaction Services team provided Vendor Due Diligence services to LMS Capital in respect of the £80m sale of Updata Infrastructure to Capita plc, the support services company. Updata provides managed network services to local authorities throughout the UK and recently won the £110m Scottish Wide Area Network contract in partnership with Capita.
The deal strengthens Capita’s IT services offering and enhances Updata’s ability to continue growing its share of the market. This deal builds on BDO’s considerable experience in TMT, having completed 52 transactions in the sector in the last year and is another great example of our VDD credentials.
