Effective from the 6 July 2019, the promotions follow the appointment of ten new partners since the start of the year for BDO.
BDO promotes four people in its tax team: Steve Watts, Paul Townson, Steve Hoon, and Lyndon Firth.
In its audit practice, Tracey Keeble, Laura Pingree and Steven Roberts have all been promoted.
Within the advisory team, Tim Betts (Business Restructuring), Susan Blower (Forensics), Kevin Haywood Crouch (Forensics), Caryn Deeley (Forensics), Gareth Jones (Business Outsourcing), Helen O’Kane (M&A) and Robert Waters (International Institutions and Donor Assurance) have also been named new partners in the business.
As a group, the new partners have significant experience across a wide range of sectors and specialisms including natural resources, manufacturing and real estate and construction. The promotions span the firm’s London, Birmingham, Southampton, Manchester and Ipswich offices.
Paul Eagland, Managing Partner at BDO, added: “2019 has already been a notable year for BDO for many reasons. Following our successful merger with Moore Stephens LLP, we are in a position of strength and I am thrilled that our newly enlarged firm is continuing to attract and retain exceptional talent.
“Anyone who has been through the partner promotion process will understand how rigorous and challenging it can be, but it is hugely rewarding and a great opportunity for us to celebrate the talent we have within the firm. They are all great role models to their teams and have demonstrated a strong focus on quality and client service. I congratulate them all.”
