BDO hires six new partners

Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO has hired six new partners to bolster its audit and advisory teams.

BDO’s six latest partner appointments take the firm’s total number of partners to 440.

The partners will be based in BDO’s London, Gatwick and Glasgow offices.

Mark Shaw joins BDO as an audit partner working out of the firm’s London office. He brings a focus on audit risk, quality, investigations and methodologies. Mark joins from PwC.

Richard Bedlow will be based in BDO’s London office and also joins as an audit partner. He brings vast experience supporting responsible growth in the technology and media sector for large and complex clients. Richard joins from PwC.

Also joining BDO from PwC is James Steele-Perkins, who will be based in London as an audit partner. James has a focus on financial services audits and risk advisory and will lead the Client Assets focus for BDO.

Based in BDO’s Glasgow office, Mick Campbell joins as a financial services advisory partner. Mick’s area of focus will be the financial services sector, where he will support growth of BDO’s advisory offering to the market. He joins from Atos UK.

Peter Latham, who will be based in Gatwick, joins as a partner in the audit team from PwC. He has provided audit and accounting services to businesses ranging from SME’s through to listed multinational companies across various industries. Peter will have a focus on housebuilding and construction.

Frederic Larquetoux joins as a client service and financial reporting advisory partner based in London. He has previously led the development of financial reporting advisory solutions and practices both at EY and at his previous firm, RSM. He will continue to focus on assisting large and complex organisations address accounting, financial and corporate reporting challenges.
