David Butcher

I have over 19 years of experience in auditing public and private multi-national businesses who report to the US or who are undertaking transactions on the US Capital Markets.  

I am part of BDO UK's Country Co-ordinating team for our US member firm, leading on all aspects of BDO UK/US' relationship. Within our US Audit sector team, I have a strong focus on the Anglo-US Technology Market and work with a broad range of high-growth clients.  

My expertise predominately lies in the digital assets, blockchain, AI, software (SaaS and AdTech) and managed services sectors as part of a team who work on a variety of offerings, including registered offerings listed in New York and filings with the SEC.

I have experience in reporting under US GAAP, IFRS and UK GAAP and sit on the BDO Global Fintech Leadership team.
