Executive summary

I am a leader in BDO's International Institutions and Donor Assurance (IIDA) team with 24 years of experience in delivering assurance and consulting services to a diverse range of international donors. Now based in London, I lived and worked in Africa for 11 years and draw on this experience when engaging with clients and stakeholders worldwide, from all cultures and backgrounds.

I am specifically responsible for overseeing our bespoke IIDA Field Offices teams, providing on the ground services to our clients across the Caribbean, the African continent, the Middle East and South-East Asia.

I am passionate about the international development sector, where I have worked throughout my BDO career. I have carried out assignments on behalf of all the major international donors including the European Union, the World Bank, the Global Fund, the African Development Bank, UN agencies, and major bilateral donors, such as the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, the German Development Agency (GIZ), the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), the Belgian Development Agency (Enabel), the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC) and the French Development Agency (AFD). A native English speaker, I am fluent in French.

I'm experienced in delivering financial and systems audits, verifications, finance-related trainings and capacity building, institutional assessments, due-diligence reviews and public financial management consultancy.

Allied to this expertise, I lead our 10 field offices globally, overseeing strategy, operations, business development, external relations, human resources, financial management, and quality assurance.

I am a subject matter expert on the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) and also provide professional due diligence services to my clients in the mineral supply-chain sector, in compliance with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.
