Executive summary

I am a Deals Advisory Director who specialises in financial due diligence. I’ve spent the majority of my career in the Yorkshire and North East market, a fantastic region I’m passionate about. My transactions also frequently involve an element which is out of region, either nationally or internationally.

I work with clients both on the buy-side and sell-side of transactions, providing robust advice to support them to achieve the best possible outcome.

Over 17 years due diligence experience has provided me with a wide range of sector experience, but with particular expertise in manufacturing/engineering, business services and TMT. My career included a strategy role at Morrisons plc, working closely with the board of directors. I apply this combined experience to support my clients in the best possible way, working in a pragmatic manner and providing commercial advice.

A focus on quality is key to my approach. I’m particularly proud of the resulting long standing relationships I’ve got with a range of clients I regularly support to make successful acquisitions. I’m also a firm believer in the importance of having a strong team around me to deliver quality work and a brilliant client experience – people development is incredibly important and I love working with a fantastic team.

Maintaining a work-life balance is essential to stay energised. I love spending time with my family, with the ever changing dynamics as my kids get older. Cycling and running keep me fit, but outdoor pursuits are my passion – anything from rock climbing, caving or skiing is a great way to spend my free time.
