Keven is an Associate Director in BDO's Infrastructure Advisory team. He specialises in providing financial and commercial advice in the delivery of public sector infrastructure and projects. Keven has provided support to clients in the healthcare, emergency services and local authority sectors.
A qualified Management Accountant (ACMA), Keven has 13 years public sector finance experience having worked in various roles and environments within the NHS. His NHS experience is further supplemented through the work that he undertook in his time with Ramsay Health Care where, as lead financial advisor for Ramsay’s Bid Development team, he helped secure PPP contracts with the Department of Health as part of the ISTC programme and individual NHS Trusts.
Since joining BDO (previously PKF) Keven has worked on a range of consultancy assignments providing commercial advice on PPP / PFI procurement, business case development and general capital investment advice. More recently, Keven has become BDO’s lead on Strategic Estates Partnerships (SEPs) where he has advised both public and private sector clients on more than half of the SEP deals that have been through procurement.
Keven’s other specialisms include Value for Money (VfM) and capital investment evaluation, funding analysis and competitions as well as EU Procurement. His private sector experience coupled with his strong public sector knowledge gives Keven a rounded commercial understanding from both a bidder’s and procurer’s perspective.
