Mercia Asset Management plc (""Mercia"") is an AIM listed proactive, specialist asset manager focused on supporting regional SMEs to achieve their growth aspirations. Frontier Development Capital Limited (""FDC"") is a leading, regionally focused lender to SMEs, with c.£415million of funds under management. 
The acquisition of FDC offers a number of strategic benefits to Mercia including (i) expansion of Mercia's profitable funds under management, (ii) strengthening Mercia’s position as a leading SME supporter, and (iii) increasing deal flow and organic funds under management growth opportunities.
