The BDO Transaction Services team has provided Financial and Tax due diligence to Carus Animal Health Ltd in connection with its acquisition of Veterinary Sciences Inc.
Carus Animal Health Ltd, a UK subsidiary of the Japanese market leading veterinary product company Kyoritsu Seiyaku Corporation, was incorporated in 2017 to invest in innovative, tech-supported veterinary businesses outside of Japan.
The acquisition of Washington based Genetic Veterinary Sciences Inc (trading as Paw Print Genetics), a provider of canine genetic diagnostic testing, is expected to increase the global footprint of the wider Kyrotisu Seiyaku group.
