Acquisition of Group Rapport and Bromwich Financial Planning by Truinvest

BDO has advised financial services group Truinvest on the acquisition of Group Rapport and Bromwich Financial Planning. Set up in 2019 by co-founders Mark Smith and Micky Johal, and backed by Stonewood Wealth Management, Truinvest has completed its first two transactions in adding the Weybridge-based Group Rapport and Market Harborough-based Bromwich Financial Planning to its portfolio. The deals represent the first stage of a five-year growth strategy to achieve annual revenues of £50m and assets under advice and influence of £1bn, with the acquisitions adding £350m to the latter.
