Acquisition of Travel Republic by dnata

Dnata, the airline services affiliate of Emirates, acquired a majority stake in Travel Republic, the largest privately owned online travel agency in the UK with TTV significantly in excess of £340m in its current trading year. The acquisition represents one of dnata's biggest business transactions in the company's 52 year history and will allow dnata to capitalise on the increasing popularity of online travel booking and continue dnata's international expansion. BDO led dnata through a tight timetable and successfully completed the transaction within five weeks of being instructed.
