BDO recently provided acquisition advice and support, and financial and tax due diligence on the acquisition of Weighsoft Limited (“Weighsoft”) by ISYS Interactive Systems Ltd (“ISYS”). ISYS is a leading provider of waste management and recycling software in the UK, and this acquisition will consolidate it as a leading player in its sector. ISYS sells internally generated software which tracks and traces waste management through to completion, including handling all invoicing and reporting to ensure compliance with legislation.
The acquisition of Weighsoft enables ISYS to access additional software applications in the waste and recycling sector and to widen its customer base to include software for use in the dairy industry, bus and coach ticketing, along with other applications.
