BDO has advised Franchise Brands plc on their successful £3.5 million fundraising and admission to AIM. With a market capitalisation of approximately £15.6 million at the date of admission, this is the first Midlands IPO since the EU referendum.

Franchise Brands has a combined network of over 350 franchisees in 12 countries, but predominately operates in the UK. Headquartered in Kidderminster, the Group operates three brands: mobile car paintwork repair business ChipsAway; Ovenclean, a service that provides domestic oven cleaning; and residential house cleaning company MyHome.

The Group was founded in September 2008 by Stephen Hemsley (Executive Chairman) and Nigel Wray (Non-Executive Director), the Group’s principal shareholders, who have substantial experience in franchising, notably through their well-documented involvement with Domino’s Pizza.

"BDO were a great asset to us throughout the process. BDO’s corporate finance team worked strenuously to find pragmatic solutions to ensure that key deadlines were met. It was a pleasure working with them and I would be very happy to do so again".
