BDO takes top spot in the Mergermarket accountant league tables

We are proud to be ranked as top financial due diligence provider, by deal volume, in the latest Mergermarket UK League Table for 2021*. 

This reinforces our market position as the UK’s leading financial adviser to fast-growing entrepreneurial businesses in what has been a challenging year.

Our team completed 383 transactions in 2021, with a combined value of more than £45bn. Private equity accounted for 70% of all transactions completed, and cross border deals increased by 5%, despite market challenges. The Healthcare & Education, Technology & Media and Real Estate sectors remain our most significant sectors, by volume, but we experienced the largest year-on-year increases in Professional Services and Transport & Logistics.
