Social Housing Barometer 2020 – Benchmark tool for social housing industry leaders

04 September 2020

How have housing associations reacted to the events of the last 12 months? What strategies have they adopted, what are the key risks, and what will be the lasting impact of changes to the sector? These are questions the Social Housing Barometer 2020 will attempt to answer.

Share your views – complete the survey

By contributing to the survey you, and your Board, will guarantee early access to the final Report and the insights we uncover. We are also making a £10 donation to Crisis for every survey completed (up to a maximum of £2,000).

The report will highlight best practice, share success stories and explore key challenges faced so housing associations can learn from each other when navigating the ‘new reality’. This year, there is also an opportunity to showcase your innovations and successes through our featured case study videos, which will sit alongside the main report.

I would like to share my success story

Unlike some business sectors, where activities can be wholly suspended or provided remotely, the social housing sector has faced unique financial and operational challenges in delivering vital services into residents’ homes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Balancing business as usual risks with those emerging from COVID-19, the sector found ways to continue delivering high-quality care in person to vulnerable people.

Nonetheless, difficult decisions have had to be made. New ways of working, changes to supply chains and adjusting development plans have all been part of the response. Our final report will explore what this all means for housing associations and the sector as a whole.

The survey will take you less than 10 minutes to complete and all responses will be treated confidentially. The survey will close at 11:59pm on 16 October 2020.
