Social Housing Barometer 2020 – Benchmark tool for social housing industry leaders
14 January 2021
Half of housing associations plan to scale up development despite widespread economic uncertainty according to our 2020 Social Housing Barometer.
Despite 87% of the housing associations reporting a loss of confidence in the overall UK economy, 48% are planning to develop more homes in the next five years. Boards and management teams remain committed to housing development and to achieving their long-term strategic goals.
The outbreak of COVID-19 has created an environment that none of us have ever experienced before, with a host of new challenges. Our Social Housing Barometer 2020 highlights housing associations’ strategic priorities and the challenges they face, as well as sector best practice.
