Throughout April and May, our Life Science’s team is participating in two events, presenting on raising finance within the sector.
At the OBN BioTrinity Conference 2022, which took place 26 and 27 April, Ian Oliver chaired a panel on how global capital markets compare, and Katy Rabindran was a keynote speaker, presenting on maximising the benefits of R&D tax credits. Prior to the event, they sat down with journalist Jonty Bloom, to discuss the key issues raised at the conference. You can access the full conversation, below.
On Wednesday 25 May, the BDO Life Sciences team will be hosting the next webinar in our Life Sciences Live series, where they will share their insights in terms of considerations for a business within the sector to become ‘IPO ready’, both operationally and in terms of its corporate and ownership structure, as well as provide an overview of the IPO process. You can register for the event here.

Ahead of their BioTrinity 2022 conference appearance, Ian Oliver and Katy Rabindran sat down with journalist Jonty Bloom to discuss how the sector’s businesses can raise finance, including sector appeal, the challenges which can be faced, maximising the benefits of R&D tax credits (including updates from the Spring Statement), and how the different global capital markets compare.
Webinar - Life Sciences Live
The life sciences sector has been attracting an increasing level of investor interest, and many businesses in the industry are looking to public markets to capitalise on this interest and raise funds to take them to the next stage of growth. However, the idea of going public can be a daunting one, from deciding the best market on which to list, through to making sure the business is ready for listing and going through the listing process.
Join us for our next Life Sciences Live webinar, where our life sciences specialists will share their insights in terms of considerations for a life sciences business to become “IPO ready”, both operationally and in terms of its corporate and ownership structure, as well as provide an overview of the IPO process.
