BDO expands private client offering

Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP has strengthened its tax expertise with the appointment of a new senior tax manager to its Private Client Services’ (PCS) team.

Nadine Bogard re-joins BDO as a senior tax manager and will specialise in all aspects of UK trusts including accounting, succession and tax. She will sit within the firm’s expanding tax advisory team in Guildford headed by tax partner Michael Flaherty.

Nadine has many years of experience advising individuals and families on wealth structuring and inheritance tax planning. She joins from Smith and Williamson where she managed the Guildford Trusts & Estates team.

Commenting on her appointment, Nadine said: “I am thrilled to be re-joining BDO and working alongside the team in the South East. I’m looking forward to utilising the knowledge I have gained in the local market to grow the trust and inheritance tax business across BDO’s offices in Guildford and Gatwick.”

Michael Flaherty, Head of Private Client Services at BDO South East commented: “It’s always great to welcome former colleagues back to BDO. Nadine has significant trust and inheritance tax expertise which further strengthens our offering across the region in what is likely to be an increasingly active area of tax change in the years ahead.”
