BDO appoints new financial services M&A partner

Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP has appointed a new partner to its national mergers and acquisitions (M&A) team. 

Duncan Chandler joins BDO as the Head of Financial Services in BDO’s M&A team. He joins from advisory firm, Cavendish Corporate Finance. 

Duncan has a number of years of experience within the financial services sector and specifically within the mid-market. His role at BDO will see him cover all areas of financial services with a core focus on lending, specialty finance, wealth management and capital markets. 

Commenting on his appointment, Duncan said:

“M&A activity remains buoyant since the upturn after the initial difficulties caused by Covid. There continues to be strong appetite for investment and growth in the financial services sector and a palpable sense of optimism in the market.”
