BDO hires three new partners

David Ellis joins as a tax partner in BDO’s global employer services team. Having spent the last 18 months running his own reward consultancy business, David’s new role will see him specialise in advising clients on strategic reward, with a particular focus on technology driven organisations.

Louise Cupples also joins as a tax partner. Her role at BDO will see her focus on advising medium-sized and larger professional service clients on international and UK tax matters specifically focusing on the legal, consultancy and property advisory sectors. She joins from Deloitte.

Hannah Pop joins as a partner in BDO’s audit practice. As part of the consumer markets team she will focus on working across the hospitality, leisure and retail sectors. Previous experience includes working with larger FTSE listed firms, private equity backed businesses as well as mid-market and privately owned businesses.

All three new partners will be based in London.

Paul Eagland, Managing Partner at BDO, commented:

“Businesses are facing a myriad of pressures including rising costs, staff shortages and economic uncertainty. Consequently, our clients are coming to us with increasingly complex and ever-changing requirements and issues.

“Our investment in talented and high-performing individuals supports our commitment to helping our clients navigate this challenging period.

“David, Louise and Hannah each bring years of experience and expertise to the firm and will be great additions to the BDO team.”
