BDO wins four employer brand and employee network awards
BDO has won four awards recognising its approach to attracting and supporting talent and creating an inclusive workplace.
At the Employee Network Awards, BDO’s social mobility network, Bridge, was named Outstanding Network of the Year. Inspire, its gender balance network, was also shortlisted in the same category. Both Bridge and Inspire are employee-led networks, giving colleagues a direct role in building an inclusive culture and creating communities where people can connect, share experiences and support one another and the business to succeed.
In the same week, at the Employer Brand Management Awards, BDO’s Talent Attraction team won Gold for Best Onboarding or Reboarding Programme. Working alongside creative agency Pink Squid, the team also received Gold for Best Employer Brand Management Event for its Early Careers 'Breakroom' and Silver for Best Communication of the Employer Brand to a Gen Z Audience.
Louise Sayers, Head of People, Culture & Purpose at BDO, said:
“As we celebrate ten years of BDO’s core purpose, ‘Helping you Succeed’, these awards recognise the dedication our people show every day, whether they are helping new talent discover BDO, creating an inclusive workplace or building communities where our people can connect and thrive.
“Reaching people at the start of their careers is only part of the story; we also want everyone who joins BDO to feel supported and able to succeed. These awards celebrate both sides of that commitment, from the creativity of our Talent Attraction team to the colleagues who give their time and energy to Bridge and Inspire. I’m incredibly proud of what they have achieved.”
