Christopher Rowe

I lead our indirect tax team in the Midlands, covering our Birmingham and Nottingham offices. I started my career at PwC before working in industry as an indirect tax manager at a global construction and agricultural equipment provider. That in-house experience means I understand the challenges of operating in industry and how to make sure the services my team provides bring maximum value.

After returning to practice and spending eight and a half years at EY, I joined BDO in 2022 as a partner. As well as leading across all aspects of indirect tax in my local market, I lead our automotive sector nationally across all taxes. I've focused on the sector for the last 12 years and have a broad understanding of its challenges.

I'm also a lead partner for tax technology, leading nationally for indirect tax and across our Northern region for all taxes. I've supported many clients with tax technology strategy, implementing compliance tools and automating processes to reduce risk and free up time.
