I have over 25 years' experience providing assurance and advisory services, predominantly in the consumer markets sector. My clients range from privately owned family and private equity backed businesses to international listed companies, across retail, wholesale, and leisure & hospitality.

I typically work with CFOs, CEOs and Audit Committees advising on business and financial and governance matters. My day-to-day work includes auditing annual financial statements, reviewing quarterly and annual reporting, consulting on complex accounting transactions such as business combinations, reverse takeovers, and IPOs, and advising on the systems, controls and processes that prepare a business for growth or exit. I also lead BDO's National Consumer Markets sector working with a team of highly skilled partners and staff who are experienced and knowledgeable about the sector and the issues that affect consumer businesses.

I'm experienced in IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP as well as International and PCAOB Auditing Standards. I have also worked with BDO Canada based in Vancouver, gaining valuable experience of the North American market.
