Francis is a Corporate Finance Partner at BDO Northern Ireland. A Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Business Consulting, Francis is widely recognised as one of Northern Ireland’s leading Corporate Finance and Business Advisers, with expertise across a wide range of industries and projects, including leading several reporting accounting assignments for clients listing on the UK Stock Exchange, a novel role for an accountant in Belfast. He was recently awarded Northern Ireland Dealmaker of the Year at the 2016 Dealmaker Awards.
Francis is a former Chairman of the Institute of Management Consultancy in Northern Ireland, former board member and Past President of the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce, and is currently a board member and Vice President of the British Chambers of Commerce, the umbrella organisation for all 52 accreditated chambers in the UK, including the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce.
Francis is a member of the Agri-food Strategy Board, established by the Department of Enterprise Trade and Investment and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, to develop and oversee the implementation of a long term strategy to grow the Agri-food sector in Northern Ireland.
