I am a Consultant in Business Restructuring based in London with more than 30 years' experience helping businesses, lenders and stakeholders navigate financial and operational challenges. You can come to me for practical advice on insolvency, restructuring and business recovery matters, particularly when the situation is complex, sensitive or requires an experienced independent perspective.

I have taken appointments across the full range of formal insolvency procedures, including receiverships, administrations, liquidations, bankruptcies and court receiverships arising from legal proceedings. I also have extensive experience supporting clearing banks, secured lenders and businesses through restructuring processes, as well as delivering solvent group reorganisations. Alongside my advisory work, I have acted as an expert witness on restructuring matters and served as a Skilled Person under section 166 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.

Throughout my career, I have combined technical expertise with a strong commitment to professional standards. I am a licensed insolvency practitioner and chartered accountant, and I have served the ICAEW in several leadership roles, including Chair of the Ethics Advisory Committee, member of the Insolvency Committee and elected member of ICAEW Council.
