John Middlemass

I am a Tax Director in the Financial Services and Transactions Tax team, specialising in working with private equity houses throughout their lifecycle.

I advise my clients from fund/manager formation through to exiting investments, focusing on acquisition structuring, tax due diligence, reorganisations, vendor assistance and exit structuring.

I am passionate about working with entrepreneurial asset managers, supporting them to achieve their goals. I work closely with investment teams, enhancing and protecting the value of their investments.

Outside of work I enjoy playing all kinds of sports, going to the gym and running. Slightly contradictory to this, I am also really into food and drink, and have a current list of 300+ restaurants in London to try.
