Mark Shaw

I have been Managing Partner of BDO UK since 1 October 2024. I am also a member of BDO's Global Board.

My job is to work with our talented partners and colleagues to deliver balanced growth, putting the public interest, doing the right thing, our culture and our people at the heart of everything we do.

Before stepping into this role, I held several senior leadership positions in the firm, including Head of Business Restructuring and as a member of both our Advisory Executive and our Quality & Risk Executive.

Over 26 years as a partner, my client practice focused on restructuring, insolvency and related expert witness matters. The majority of those engagements involved multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders, with high value or business-critical issues at stake. I have worked on some of the highest profile assignments in the market and was consistently ranked as a leading practitioner by clients and peers.
