Martin Bell

I'm a tax partner in our Scottish practice and former Head of Tax for the region. I trained with Arthur Andersen, moved to Deloitte in 2002 and joined the firm in 2009. I'm a member of ICAS and the Chartered Institute of Taxation with 32 years of experience in tax professional practice.

I lead the provision of tax compliance and advisory services to many of our large Scottish and international corporate clients. I have significant experience working with Scottish quoted, private and family owned businesses to deliver UK tax solutions, structure transactions and business models in a tax-efficient manner, and handle local and international tax compliance and reporting. My clients have also included foreign-owned groups in various sectors as well as private equity-backed companies.

I've spent the majority of my career in Scotland, with time in London and an industry secondment, which gives me a broad perspective on what businesses need from their tax advisers.
