Oivind Andresen

I lead the Banking Prudential team in Financial Services Advisory, helping banks and financial services firms meet their prudential regulatory requirements with a focus on capital and liquidity. With over 20 years' experience in financial services, including seven years at Barclays working in the regulatory capital team for the Corporate and Investment Bank, I bring both practical and technical expertise to every engagement.

I work with a wide range of banks, from large international Tier 1 groups to start-up tech-based challenger banks and regional building societies. My role is to be a regulatory subject matter expert, supporting you in resolving complex and critical issues. The diversity of this community is what I enjoy most, as it demands an understanding of cultural differences, personalities and technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Over the past ten years I've supported several high-profile banks in obtaining their banking licences and helped them tackle critical regulatory issues. I maintain strong relationships with these clients and I'm proud to have introduced them to other parts of our firm, both in the UK and internationally.
