Paula Holland

I am an Audit Partner at BDO, currently working with a wide range of large and complex businesses across the North West. I have experience with family-owned, PE backed and listed entities and have worked across a very broad range of sectors, including Real Estate, Construction, Manufacturing, Professional Services, Food & Drink and Energy & Natural Resources. I’ve worked across Manchester, Leeds and spent over 10 years in Scotland as an Office Senior Partner for the Big 4.

With BDO I practice hands-on, partner-led audits and favour open and frank communication. I prioritise building relationships with management and the Board and work with an “open door” to discuss issues as and when they arise.

Outside of Audit, I play the familiar juggling act of kids and hobbies. With a blended family of 4 children that can sometimes be very challenging. When we’re all together, we like to go swimming or rock-climbing. My other half is an artist and illustrator and so, on wet days, you’ll find us all getting the drawing bag out for a coffee and a sketch. If I do get any time to myself then I like to head out for a sneaky jog.
