Rachel Brittain

I'm part of the Public Sector Assurance team based in London, delivering audit and assurance services to entities across local government and the NHS. With over 20 years' experience as a public sector external auditor, I have a detailed understanding of the issues, challenges and opportunities the sector faces.

As a key audit partner licensed by the ICAEW, I'm authorised to sign external audit opinions on public sector financial statements. I also have extensive experience in value for money audits, responding to local electors' questions and objections and grant certification work, including the Housing Benefit Assurance Process.

I lead on value for money and participate in the National Audit Office working group, contributing to the development of a consistent, high-quality approach across the public sector. I'm also People Leader for the PSA team, and I'm passionate about helping individuals achieve their objectives and career goals.
