Ric Pires

I’m a Director in our Business Transformation team, working at the interface between business issues and technology solutions, engaging with senior business clients and technicians. I have worked with executive teams across the UK designing and delivering business solutions, considering people, processes, and technology. At BDO, I specialise in strategy, business process improvement, change management, target operating models, risk management and internal controls.

I also lead on a wide range of advisory projects focused on helping clients prepare for Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) by supporting them in establishing procedures that provide a reasonable basis for clients to make proper judgements on an ongoing basis as to the financial position and prospects of their company.

I have over 17 years of experience in both Professional Services and Industry, having previously worked for a highly acquisitive large corporation in the TMT space. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting. I am also a Fellow of the Instituted of Certified Chartered Accountants, and I’m a member of the Advisory Board Centre, having recently competed the Certified Chair Executive Program certification.
